BBA Small Business of the Year Finalist 2014 & 2015

Maranathan Academy Students are held to a self inflicted and school enforced code of ethics and discipline, referred to as the Honor Code. It is imperative that Academy students conduct themselves with dignity, and honor at all times, be it in school or out in the community. The Board of Directors, Director, Faculty, and Staff firmly believe that adhering to a strict code of ethics and discipline, will go far toward ensuring post graduation success in the collegiate and career worlds of our great nation.

The Honor Code stresses individual integrity, and stands as an affirmation of the values and ethics that will enable academic, spiritual and societal success during matriculation, and once one enters the world of college and work. Violations of the Honor Code carry serious consequences. Each student must recognize his or her responsibility to uphold the behavioral and academic expectations of a Maranathan Academy student.

Students are allowed ten unexcused absences per academic year. All absences, however, must have a written form of explanation.

Maranathan Academy uses teacher based instruction, and follows the curriculum set forth by the Alabama State Department of Education.

Maranathan Academy enjoys an eleven month academic year.
